Private Pilots License
A Private Pilot License (PPL) is your gateway to true freedom in the skies, created for anyone eager to explore life from a new perspective. During your training, you’ll fly with an experienced instructor, learning core piloting skills like takeoffs, landings, navigation, radio communication, and handling weather.
You’ll also master essential safety procedures and develop strong aeronautical decision-making habits. Training takes you above Reno’s beautiful mountains, valleys, and lakes—each flight building your confidence and ability.
As you log hours, you’ll gain experience in solo flights, cross-country journeys, and even night flying. Earning your PPL isn’t just about technical skill; it’s about learning to plan, communicate, and think like a true pilot.
Once licensed, you can share the adventure with friends, access new destinations, or simply enjoy the thrill of flight—knowing you’ve earned both the privilege and responsibility that come with command of an airplane. All you need to start is a passion for aviation and the commitment to learn!
